So here I am with  leads to a Halter monitor, plus others left behind after a short hospital stay.  Don’t worry, I’m fine.

In medicine, a Holter monitor (often simply “Holter” or occasionally ambulatory electrocardiography device) is a portable device for continuously monitoring various electrical activity of the cardiovascular system for at least 24 hours (often for two weeks at a time) stay.

Of course, I had to get a picture before returning monitor to Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford DE for my blog.

After giving a 3-hour dance workshop with my wife, Margo, my heart refused to stop dancing.  It has done this before but I never paid any attention to the problem.  I now remember  a couple of time while exercising in the Fitness Center when my pulse rate was too high for the amount of physical exertion I was delivering.  I just assumed the equipment was malfunctioning.

If the medicine doesn’t tame this wild heart of mine, it’ll be time for a pacemaker. I hear you can be near the microwave when popping popcorn with the newer ones:)

This expensive mansion was seen  in the Algarve region of Portugal while on vacation in 2002.  I was looking though some old images and came across this one.

In 2002 on vacation to Spain we made a 1 day trip to Morocco in North Africa. A good swimmer could swim the small channel which separates the two countries.

We saw a snake charmer holding a cobra to the delight of tourists. While researching snake charmers for this post, I read the truth about “charming snakes.”

After reading the article I felt nourished. It was as if I had become full off of knowledge.

Jon Falk took this picture of his 6 year old grandson, seen on the left.  Nathaniel is special and shows a lot of heart. He is the one who had a stroke when only one day old.  According to Pop Pop “he has issues but when he is not tired they do not present to the casual watcher.”

As we can see, he has made remarkable progress:)

This is the 40 Wedding Anniversary Party for Larry and Paulette Crawford.   Larry is the pastor of a church in Philadelphia PA.  He has told many congregations about the 40 days and 40 nights  mentioned in the Bible when Noah builds an ark (you can read about it in Gen 5:29).

This night, folks are only talking about the 40 years “as one.”

I procrastinated and missed out on the  Cinco De Mayo Buffet and Margaritas specials in my community.  On this 5th of May, I did get to my neighbor’s 70th Birthday Party.   The sombreros were seen in the Clubhouse lobby as I made a picture “cuando fui al baño.”

This spring, my wife and next door neighbor went to a lawn and garden store.  They took my pickup truck to bring stuff home. To me this is like them going to the candy store.

After seeing a rock in the back of truck on their return, my first thought was “why do we need a rock?”

Well, I’ve discovered it’s good for pictures.
